Regina (first model sometimes called Regina 0)
Features: 350cc engine "Spitz" 15/18 hp, cast iron head with dual-port exhaust, flat front forks, flat fenders, camshaft driven by chain, primary drive via simple chain.
Regina Sport
Features: Same as above but with aluminum head - Single Port exhaust on right side 20 hp.

 

Regina 1
Features: 350cc engine "Spitz" 15/18 hp, cast iron head with dual-port exhaust, steep front forks, beaded panels on the fenders, camshaft driven by spur gears, primary drive via duplex chain.
Regina 1 Sport
Features: Same as above but with aluminum head - Single Port exhaust on right side 20 hp.

 

 
Regina 2 engine "Spitz" for export
Features: 250cc engine "Spitz"aluminum head, single Port exhaust on left side 14 hp, steep front forks, new deep-drawn fenders, camshaft driven by spur gears, primary drive via duplex chain.
Regina 2 engine "Round"
Features: 250cc engine "Round"aluminum head, single Port exhaust on left side 18 hp, steep front forks, new deep-drawn fenders, camshaft driven by spur gears, primary drive via duplex chain.

 

Regina 3
Features: 350cc engine "Spitz"aluminum head, dual-port exhaust 19 hp, steep front forks, new deep-drawn fenders, camshaft driven by spur gears, primary drive via duplex chain.

 

Regina 3 GS (terrain sport)
Features: 350cc engine "Spitz"aluminum head, dual-port exhaust pulled up 19 hp, steep front forks, new deep-drawn fenders, camshaft driven by spur gears, primary drive via duplex chain.

A Horex Regina cost in 1952 according to the list 2285,- DM. A worker earned at that time 321,- DM gross per month. So he had to spend 7.11 months working for the Regina. 2014 is the gross monthly income around 2905, - Euro. Multiplying this with the workload of 7.11 months a Regina would cost 20.655,- euros. There is the price of the current Horex VR6 Roadster 22.900,- euro not so far away. Even if the comparison is purely theoretical expected gross income, you can see to drive a Horex then and now is rather a exklusieve affair.

By the way, a skilled worker with one year of service earned in 1951 at Horex DM 1.20 per hour. A working time of 60 hours a week was not uncommon at that time at Horex.
